Peggy and Jarvis get into a very American scrap in this exclusive clip from Agent Carter season 1, episode 6.
The episode, titled “A Sin to Err,” will — if you can imagine it — turn the heat up even further on Peggy. With Agent Sousa having (literally) uncovered Peggy’s secret work for Howard Stark, the S.S.R. finally begins to close in on our intrepid Agent Carter.
Luckily, Peggy has a few more tricks up her neatly-fitted sleeve — and she has Jarvis to help as well. This new sneak peek from Agent Carter season 1, episode 6 shows the British duo working together to escape from a determined flood of S.S.R. agents.
This also means that Peggy and Jarvis are friends again, which warms the very cockles of our hearts. Even after all of the violence.
In the clip, Peggy and Jarvis’ planning of their next (presumably desperate) move is interrupted when Peggy realizes that the Automat is empty — except for S.S.R. agents. She asks the butler to hold the door shut while she handles the other gentlemen.
“I’d love to,” says Jarvis.
As a breezy tune pipes through the background, Peggy uses literally anything she can get her hands on to knock the crap out of the S.S.R. agents. Jarvis, who gets creative with a salt shaker and is having the time of his life, holds the door admirably. When most of the agents are subdued, Peggy and Jarvis makes a break for the back door.
Unfortunately, Agent Thompson is waiting for Peggy.
We won’t lie, things don’t look great for Peggy. But if we’ve learned anything from Agent Carter, it’s never to count out Agent Carter.
The synopsis for “A Sin to Err” promises answers to the series’ percolating mysteries, and emphasizes the ridiculous peril Peggy is in.
“Peggy discovers the shocking truth about Leviathan,” ABC says, “but doesn’t realize that her true enemies are even closer than she imagined. Meanwhile, Sousa is close to confirming the truth about Peggy and may just put her in the crosshairs of the S.S.R.”
Keep calm and carry on, Carter.
Agent Carter season 1, episode 6, “A Sin to Err,” airs on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 9:00 p.m. on ABC.
