The trailer for Adam Sandler’s next Netflix Original looks just as terrible as all the others

It’s been a long time since Adam Sandler was at the top of his game in terms of churning out comedies that were actually funny, but that hasn’t stopped him yet.

It hasn’t stopped Netflix either, who has recently put out both The Ridiculous Six and The Do-Over from Sandler. The former film saw plenty of controversy when on-set Native Americans walked away from the movie.

Even Sandler’s “blockbuster” Pixels was pretty universally panned by critics.

Still, Sandler has made some classics in the past, and there’s always hope he’ll find his way back in the game.

Unfortunately, I don’t think he’s going to be doing it with his latest Netflix Original Sandy Wexler:

Of the movie, Netflix says:

The film follows Sandy Wexler (Adam Sandler), a talent manager working in Los Angeles in the 1990s, who diligently represents a group of eccentric clients on the fringes of show business. His single-minded devotion is put to the test when he falls in love with his newest client, Courtney Clarke (Academy Award® and Grammy® winner Jennifer Hudson), a tremendously talented singer who he discovers at an amusement park.

The Netflix original film also stars Kevin James (True Memoirs of An International Assassin), Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Beastmaster), Lamorne Morris (New Girl), Nick Swardson (The Do-Over), Rob Schneider, Jane Seymour, Carl Weathers and Arsenio Hall. The film is directed by Steve Brill (The Do-Over). Paul Sado, Dan Bulla and Adam Sandler wrote the script. Happy Madison Productions’ Adam Sandler and Allen Covert serve as producers. Barry Bernardi and Tim Herlihy serve as executive producers. Coming to Netflix April 14.

Will you be watching Adam Sandler’s ‘Sandy Wexler?
