Adam Driver will host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live alongside musical guest Kanye West!

Saturday Night Live will return for its groundbreaking 44th season with host Adam Driver (Girls, Star Wars) and musical guest Kanye West. The star-studded season premiere will kick off on September 29 this year.

Saturday Night Live made the announcement of the host and musical guest across its social media accounts.

Driver, best known for his roles as Adam on HBO’s hit series Girls and as Kylo Ren in the recent Star Wars movies, is hot off a critically-acclaimed role in this summer’s BlacKkKlansman.

Though no official announcements have been made this summer regarding cast changes at Saturday Night Live, Variety is reporting that a few cast members will be getting promotions. According to Variety, cast members Mikey Day, Melissa Villasenor and Alex Moffat have been promoted from featured cast members to repertory cast members.

Saturday Night Live will have a big day today as co-head writers and Weekend Update stars Michael Che and Colin Jost are set to host tonight’s Emmy Awards on NBC.

Are you excited to watch Adam Driver and Kanye West headline the season premiere of Saturday Night Live later this month?
