Two years after officially canceling the show, ABC Family and Alloy Entertainment have finally revealed the conclusion to The Nine Lives of Chloe King by posting the screenplay for the failed wrap-up film online.
Alloy Entertainment posted the script in its entirety on their website last week to give fans the closure they had been waiting for. When the series was cancelled in August 2011, the show left a lot of loose ends (thanks in part to its gut-wrenching cliffhanger).

Since a second season of the series was out of the question, Alloy Entertainment and ABC Family had originally planned to produce a wrap-up movie for The Nine Lives of Chloe King (titled The Nine Lives of Chloe King: Salvation) to appease fans and answer all of their burning questions, but the plans unfortunately fell through.
Fans of the show can now view the whole screenplay on Alloy Entertainment’s website. It’s available both in a window on the page as well as a PDF.
The movie takes place after the explosive Nine Lives of Chloe King series finale, “Beautiful Day.” When we last saw Chloe, she and her friends were fighting for their lives against those trying to exterminate the Mai race. Though it was based on the book of the same name, many of the show’s details differed greatly from the book, leaving fans to only speculate about possible endings and petition for a proper conclusion.
According to the Alloy Entertainment website, the script not only reveals Chloe’s fate, but the fate of her friends as well as the resolution of the love triangle between her, the Mai hottie Alek, or the sweet human Brian (who may or may not have died after kissing Chloe). While it may not be the movie fans were clamoring and petitioning for, it will definitely ease the pain of the Nine Lives of Chloe King series cancellation.
The made-for-TV movie was written by the show’s executive producer Dan Berendsen and Ron McGee.
