24 reasons to get excited for the ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ premiere on September 24

Who is excited Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? We are – and here are 24 reasons why you should be too.

It isn’t long now until we see Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. bursting onto our televisions. An Avengers spin-off show, it focused on the government agency that deals with the supernatural, extraterrestrial, and all things in between.

Hypable spoke to the cast and production team behind Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. during San Diego Comic-Con in July. Showrunner Joss Whedon told us, “for the first season, we have the joy of ‘it’s all new,’ and we will get to see where they stand on the very complicated question of – is S.H.I.E.L.D. a good thing?”

And on the mystery of Agent Coulson, actor Clark Gregg hinted that “everyone thinks they know what’s going on, but there’s another richer dimension beneath it, otherwise it wouldn’t be a Joss Whedon show.”

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on September 24 at 8pm on ABC.

Getting excited for ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’!

#CoulsonLives

We have seen the pilot, and it is AMAZING

It’s a new Joss Whedon TV show

And it’s the first Joss Whedon television show since ‘Dollhouse’ – so we have been waiting a while

You can expect cameos from many Whedonverse actors, like J. August Richards

And say hello to Shepherd Book

That’s not to forget Cobie Smulders, fresh from ‘The Avengers’

It has kick-ass characters

And super smart characters

And smart-arse characters

And really dreamy accents

And those brilliant one-liners that we expect from Whedon
