Haven’t seen all of the Best Picture nominees? Before the 2015 Oscars, AMC is offering up an easy way to see all eight films!
The United States theater chain is running all eight Best Picture nominees over two days (or one 24-hour marathon in select markets). With one or two tickets, you can see all of the films back to back to back to back [pause for a week-long break] to back to back to back to back.
The two-day route: AMC theaters across the country will run The Grand Budapest Hotel, Whiplash, Birdman, and Selma on Saturday, February 14. The following week, on Saturday, February 21, you can see the remaining four Best Picture nominees Boyhood, The Theory of Everything, The Imitation Game, and American Sniper. You can purchase one ticket for all eight films or a ticket for only half the films if you’re only interested in only one of the weekends.
The 24-hour marathon – again, only in select theaters – route will occur on February 21 starting at 10 a.m. with Boyhood. The last film in the marathon, The Grand Budapest Hotel will start Sunday at 3:45 a.m.
Personally, we’d rather attend the two-day event because we’d start to lose focus (and our minds in general) if we sat in one seat for all eight Best Picture nominees. Then again, the non-stop marathon may be a fun challenge and a cool annual tradition for theatergoers.
Tickets are $35 per day if you wish to go the 2-day route, but if you buy both at the same time you’ll save $5. If you want to go for the non-stop marathon you’ll have to cough up $65. Neither of these packages include concessions that you’ll undoubtedly need to make it through the marathons.

The 2015 Oscars hosted by Neil Patrick Harris take place Sunday, February 22. You still have plenty of time to see all of the films ahead of the big event!
