Tyler Hoechlin- Derek Hale
Where you may know him from:
7th Heaven, Castle, Lincoln Heights, Hall Pass
The man behind Derek Hale has had an interesting career, including successful recurring roles on other successful television shows. Some may remember him as the pseudo bad boy with a heart of gold, Martin Brewer, on 7th Heaven. While not actually a “bad boy,” Martin Brewer does not get a great rep on the show, what with the pregnant ex-fling, absentee parents, and gruff demeanor. Hoechlin also found success on ABC Family’s Lincoln Heights, but his role in Hall Pass helped push his career ever onward with a substantial big screen role.
Tyler Posey- Scott McCall
Where you may know him from:
Maid in Manhattan, Brothers and Sisters, Lincoln Heights
The leading man of Teen Wolf has had quite a bit of success for a young actor. His career began in 2000 when he landed an uncredited role in Men of Honor, but he was seriously memorable as Jennifer Lopez’s child, Ty Ventura, in Maid in Manhattan. The young character’s affinity for classic rock music as well as his simply adorable smile made him hard to forget. He also landed a role in Lincoln Heights, and while both his and Tyler Hoechlin’s characters appeared in one episode together, Tyler Posey’s arc lasted a little longer.
Holland Roden-Lydia Martin
Where you may know her from:
Lost, Community, Grey’s Anatomy
Holland Roden has had great success on Teen Wolf, but prior to her role as Lydia Martin, Holland could be found as John Locke’s 15-yea-old mother on Lost, a nervous young mother of conjoined twins on Grey’s Anatomy, or as the simply credited “Girl” on Community. Holland has proved her acting prowess time and time again. We are sure that Teen Wolf is just the beginning of many great things to come for this little powerhouse.
Dylan O’Brien- Stiles
Where you may know him from:
New Girl, The Internship
We all know and love Dylan O’Brien, the man behind the witty, charming human face of Teen Wolf, Stiles. Dylan’s career is just beginning to take off and his dork-chic attitude and demeanor have served him well. He landed a bit part in Fox’s New Girl just last year, where he displayed some skills with a guitar in addition to holding his ground with the comedic genius Zooey Deschanel. He also appeared in the comedy The Internship alongside Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson and showed equal parts cocky jerk and nerd with a heart of gold. You can see him next in the upcoming adaption of James Dashner’s novel The Maze Runner, where he will quite literally be running for his life.
Crystal Reed- Alison Argent
Where you may know her from:
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Crazy, Stupid, Love, Rizzoli and Isles
The complexity that Crystal Reed is able to embody for us week after week as Alison Argent must be exhausting, but she does so with so much grace that she makes it look easy. We cannot sing her praises high enough in regards to her work on Teen Wolf, but you may know her face from a few other shows and movies as well. She landed a small role in Crazy, Stupid, Love as Amy Johnson and got to share the screen with the magnificent Ryan Gosling. She has also appeared in many other places, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Rizzoli and Isles.
Daniel Sharman- Isaac Lahey
Where you may know him from:
The Nine Lives of Chloe King, Immortals, The Collection
Whether you loved him from the start, or have grown to feel for those gorgeous brown eyes, Daniel Sharman has made us all fall in love with Isaac Lahey and his unfortunate circumstances, and it is a true testament to his skills as an actor that an otherwise unnecessary character can become so loved and treasured among fandom. His dashing good looks have served him well in his other acting endeavors as well. He shone magnificently bright as Ares in 2011’s Immortals, fighting in his crazy gold headress, and had a small role in The Collection, in addition to his short story arch on the short lived The Nine Lives of Chloe King.
Keahu Kahuanui- Danny Mahealani
Where you may know him from:
The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Hawaii Five-O
Many of the young actors on Teen Wolf are just beginning the long productive careers we know are forthcoming, and Keahu Kahuanui is definitely one of them. He has managed to turn a small role as Jackson’s gay best friend into one of the most beloved characters on the show. Fans are excited to see him get more screen time this season, as Jackson has moved on, and finally get a serious love interest. While he hasn’t been in a lot of other projects, you can can catch Keahu on a few episodes of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, as well as a bit part on Hawaii Five-O.
