Lionsgate announced earlier this week that The Hunger Games: Catching Fire production is well underway, and a new on-set photo obtained by Hypable depicts a near-complete Justice Building in Georgia.
Out of respect for the film’s production crew we’re choosing not to reveal the exact location, but we will say that this set is located roughly thirty minutes east of Atlanta. The Justice Building looks about ready for cameras and stars, save for the staging area out front where a reaping will be held. There is plenty of room in front of the building for all of the Districts’ inhabitants to stand and watch as two of their own are taken by the Capitol.

Any guesses as to exactly which Justice Building this could be? Whichever District this one is for, we do know that it will play a pivotal role in the story’s Quarter Quell reaping.
Earlier today we shared on set photos of Sam Claflin and Josh Hutcherson outside of their trailers on a Catching Fire set in Georgia. The photos provided our first look at Claflin nearly in his Finnick role.
The District 12 Justice Building was one of the first sets we saw being constructed for The Hunger Games during that film’s production in May of last year.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will hit theaters November 22, 2013. Lionsgate has been steadily announcing new cast members joining the franchise to take on new roles introduced in Suzanne Collins’ Catching Fire novel. Newcomers include Jeffrey Wright as Beetee, Jena Malone as Johanna, Amanda Plummer as Wiress, Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch, Lynn Cohen as Mags, Meta Golding as Enobaria, Bruno Gunn as Brutus, Alan Ritchson as Gloss, E. Roger Mitchell as Chaff, and Stephanie Leigh Schlung as Cashmere. Filming is ongoing through December of this year in Atlanta and Hawaii.
