Musically skilled Smash fans can now purchase a collection of sheet music from NBC’s musical drama, arranged for piano, guitar and voice.
As Playbill.com reports, the officially licensed sheet music for original and cover songs performed during the show’s first season is available at Alfred Music Publishing.
All 13 tracks from The Music of Smash soundtrack, plus a bonus song – “Never Give All The Heart” – are available for $21.99 in The Music of Smash: Sheet Music Collection. Individual songs run for $3.99 to $4.99 a piece. This includes tunes composed by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, such as “Let Me Be Your Star,” “History Is Made At Night” and more. Covers like “Beautiful,” “Brighter Than The Sun” and “Shake It Out” are also part of the collection.
Smash returns to NBC at midseason without four characters from the musical drama’s debut season, but with a new showrunner in Josh Safran (Gossip Girl) and the addition of Jeremy Jordan, Krysta Rodriguez and Andy Mientus as regulars. Jennifer Hudson and Will and Grace‘s Sean Hayes will have guest starring roles in season 2, and Grey’s Anatomy‘s Daniel Sunjata will have a recurring role.
