Media Kit

Now is a great time to advertise with Hypable. How we can work together?

For us, it’s all about fandom.

Our goal has always been simple: Serve the fans -- the people who are as passionate about fandom as we are. This motto has always been a part of us: Prior to Hypable we were running the most popular Harry Potter website online, MuggleNet.com. With Harry Potter coming to a close (for a time, it looked that way!), we decided to launch a website in 2011 that would cover all fandoms like MuggleNet covered Harry Potter.

Hypable primarily covers popular TV shows, movies, and YA books, but we also cover music, video games, and other trending topics. No matter what we’re writing about, we write about it with authority, and our readers take notice.

We’re visited by 2 million unique readers per month, 60% of whom are visiting on mobile devices.

Hypable’s style of coverage has attracted a younger and primarily female readership.

32% of our readers are between 25 - 34 years old

62% of our audience is female, and 38% is male

53% of our readers are in the U.S., 8% are in the U.K., 6% are in Canada, and 4% are in Australia

42% of our readers are 18 - 24 years old

Hypable offers content including the latest news, in-depth features, and opinion pieces that can only be seen on a site run by people who are deeply entrenched in fandom.

Samples of our original content

These articles reflect the unique opinions and in-depth analysis we bring to Hypable on a weekly basis. This is content you’ll only see on Hypable. Our goal with every piece is to respond to the latest fandom trends and connect with fans on an emotional level.

Why ‘Outlander’ is must-watch TV for men and women

Outlander is not a lighthearted costume romp, a bodice-ripper, or that dreaded term, “a chick-flick.” Instead, it’s a solid TV drama for men and women.

‘Daredevil’ season 2’s real star is Karen Page

Daredevil season 2 masterfully bridged the gap between old and new characters, but Karen Page’s journey was exceptional across all 13 episodes.

‘I could do this all day’: Overanalyzing the new ‘Captain America: Civil War’ trailer

A new Captain America: Civil War trailer hit the internet today, and we have a breakdown as intense as the forthcoming fight between Steve and Tony.

Mischief managed: Reading ‘Harry Potter’ 19 years later

Two months, 4,111 pages, and 19 years later the magic of the Harry Potter series is even more impressive than the first, second, and third time around.

I’ve learned more about the world through fandom than formal education

While growing up, never in my wildest dreams did I think that I’d learn more about the world from my fandom peers than my numerous classes.

Oscars 2015: Hypable’s backstage interviews with the night’s biggest stars

It’s 5:15 p.m., just 15 minutes before the start of the 87th annual Academy Awards, and the backstage winner’s interview room is already packed with journalists and gossip.

Hypable And YA Literature

We work with all the major publishers to share exclusive cover reveals, interviews, excerpts from books, and more. New in 2016 are Hypable’s premium placements for this exclusive YA content. In addition to writing about upcoming books, we are now working with book publishers to ensure these exclusives reach all of our readers no matter where they are on the site.

In addition to working with studios and publishers to promote their content, Hypable gets organically noticed by A-listers thanks to the site’s original content (for better or for worse).

Advertising opportunities

We work to make sure that brands who advertise on Hypable can be seen by all of our readers.

All of our options are coded directly into the site, meaning ad blockers will not be able to remove them.

Logo takeover

You can take over Hypable’s logo with a color change, additional text, and a photo. When a user clicks on the area, they’ll be taken to an article on Hypable about the product, or we can send them off site.

Since the logo does not look like it normally does, readers will immediately notice the change, bringing attention to your product. The product is also “united” with the Hypable brand, which lets the reader know we stand proudly with the product.

Rates:

  • $1700 for a single day
  • $4500 for three days ($1500/day)

Priority Home Page and The Spotlight placement

An article about your product will stay at the top of the Hypable homepage. In addition, your article will stay in “The Spotlight” on the rest of the site.

The article will receive additional attention it would not receive otherwise by being in the two content areas seen by all of our readers, no matter where they are on the site.

Your article will appear below every article on the site, meaning that as soon as a reader finishes reading whichever article they are currently on, they will next see your article!

  • $500 for a single day
  • $1000 for three days ($333/day)

Single-article or All-article sponsorship

One or every article on Hypable will be “sponsored/powered by” your brand. Text with a small graphic will be placed beneath the headline. We can work with you to make sure the sponsorship pops to your liking, and we can create a call-to-action (I.E. “Read a sample from [book]” or “Watch the trailer for [TV show or film]”).

Your product is credited for bringing either a certain article or all articles to Hypable. If you want to promote a single article, we can figure out which article would be best to sponsor. We can plan far ahead so that you will sponsor a certain “big” news event (like a trailer release), or we can work in the short term and help you select a big piece on Hypable that’s receiving high traffic during any given week.

Rates for single-article sponsorship:

  • $200 for a single day
  • $300 for two days ($150/day)
  • $375 for three days ($125/day)
  • $700 for seven days ($100/day)

Rates for all-article sponsorship (Maximum visibility):

  • $800 for a single day
  • $1400 for two days ($700/day)
  • $1900 for three days ($633/day)
  • $4000 for seven days ($571/day)
