Man of Steel’s director Zack Snyder has now confirmed that the film’s trailer can be seen prior to The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey screenings.
Snyder recently sat down with MTV to discuss the new Superman film and he expressed excitement over the fact that the film’s trailer would be seen at Warner Bros. next tent pole event this December, The Hobbit. Snyder on his excitement for fans to check out the new trailer:
“It’s fun. I can’t wait for ‘The Hobbit,’ so it will be fun to see our crazy ‘Man of Steel’ trailer and then enjoy the Hobbit because that’s going to be great. It just feels like a fun Christmas thing to do, drag the whole family out for that action.”
Fans may remember that we had an exclusive look at the trailer that was revealed at Comic-Con 2012, but it was quickly taken down as requested by the studio. At the time the trailer was a bit grainy due to it being filmed with a cell phone camera, so we’re glad that we’ll finally see the complete trailer with new footage come Christmas. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be released in IMAX 3D, so the Man of Steel trailer should look quite nice if you’re lucky enough to be viewing it in an IMAX theater.
