Director Bryan Singer has revealed that the mutant Jubilee will be featured in X-Men: Apocalypse, to be played by Lana Condor.
An iconic mutant from the X-Men comics will be making her return to the big screen in X-Men: Apocalypse:
I'd officially like to welcome our newest mutant #JubilationLee, #Jubilee lanacondor to #XMEN… https://t.co/4oYYtan8Bo

In the comics, Jubilee is a member of the junior team Generation X, originally brought to Professor X by Wolverine. Jubilee’s relationship with Wolverine in the comics is similar to the one he has with Rogue in the first movie.
Her super power is the ability to generate pyrotechnic energy plasmoids from her hands, and she is also an accomplished gymnast. In the comics, she eventually gains vampire abilities.

Jubilee had a short-lived spin-off comic series of her own, and was a prominent character in the X-Men animated series from the 1990s.
The character has appeared in all three previous X-Men films, portrayed by Katrina Florence and Kea Wong.
Lana Condor is a relatively unknown actress, and this will be her first big movie role. Congratulations! We hope to see more than a cameo from Jubilee this time around.
‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ hits cinemas on May 26, 2016.
