It’s been so long since the characters within The Walking Dead have been able to enjoy a peaceful home. Will Alexandria offer what they desperately need?
Last week’s episode of The Walking Dead season 5 found the group meeting Aaron and, later on, his boyfriend Eric. While Rick was extremely suspicious of them at first, he came around after they couldn’t find any proof that they were truly bad. Rick’s precautions seemed dramatic at times, but in light of the horrible people they’ve met recently, we suppose he was right to tread lightly.
The episode ended with Rick, Michonne, Carl, and the rest of the crew driving up to Alexandria’s entrance, and this week we’ll get our first glimpse inside the safe zone. We’re excited because it’s the first time in a while that we’ll get to see Rick and co. “enjoying” a community that hasn’t been torn apart by zombies.
It’ll be interesting to see what enemies the show introduces next. Surely the peace within the Alexandria Safe Zone won’t last for long!

Barring a large herd of zombies breaking into Alexandria, or a new Governor-type character being introduced, maybe Rick and company will be able to stay at their new home through the end of season 5.
The Walking Dead season 5, episode 12 airs Sunday, March 1 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific on AMC.
