The Walking Dead continues to juggle the characters they’re depicting week to week.
Update: Read our recap of tonight’s new episode!
When you’re a show like The Walking Dead with a huge cast, there’s only one way to give each of them enough time on air: Only show a few characters per episode.
Sunday’s new episode of The Walking Dead — season 6, episode 6, titled “Always Accountable” — will follow Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha as they try to return to Alexandria (yes, still). Daryl appears to have fallen out of range of Abraham and Sasha’s walkie talkies, causing them to start a search and rescue mission.
It’s interesting how the show is still dealing with the walker re-route plot line we saw in the season premiere. Sasha, Daryl, and Abraham are still out on the road after that plan went to hell. We hope that by the end of this episode they’ll be back at the safe zone, and the attention will turn toward finding Glenn and Nicholas.
A clip from tonight’s episode shows Daryl moving slowly through the woods. He appears to be in bad shape (and particularly dirty, even by Daryl standards):
With only a couple of episodes left until the show takes a break for the winter, everyone is wondering if Glenn will be making a return soon (if he’s still alive, that is). Last week we learned that Maggie is pregnant with Glenn’s baby, leading many to wonder whether this development hinted at his survival prospects.
The Walking Dead season 6, episode 6 airs Sunday, November 15 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific. You can watch online via a stream on AMC’s website beginning Monday, November 16.
Earlier this week fans of the show were treated to some big news: We finally learned who’s set to play Negan, one of Rick’s worst enemies. The character is expected to appear on screen at the end of season 6 in the spring.
