We have just under four weeks to go until Veronica Roth releases a collection of four short stories about Four.
If you can’t wait for the release, these two snippets from one of the Four short stories titled “The Traitor” may whet your appetite. They were released through MTV and HarperCollins on Tuesday:
“She’s not learning the lessons Eric wants her to learn. She’s learning different things, wiser ones.”
“How is it possible to live the same story twice, from different vantage points?”
As you can tell, both of these are from the perspective of Four. All stories are set before the events of Divergent, with the exception of one which overlaps with the first book in Roth’s dystopian trilogy.

In addition to the short stories, the book will include three deleted scenes involving Tris.
Four: A Divergent Collection will make its print and eBook debut on July 8. You can pre-order either format now via Amazon.
In related news, the Divergent sequel Insurgent is currently filming in Atlanta. Roth visited the set of the movie earlier this week for what may be her first time checking out the production:
I MIGHT have been at the Insurgent set for the past two days. I MIGHT have pet a goat while I was there. I MAY still smell like bug spray.

As filming continues, so too do casting announcements. Yesterday the studio revealed that they’ve cast Uriah. The news is significant because the character was cut from the first movie due to time constraints.
