The competition was narrowed down to the top eight contestants last night, but the standout performance of the night was from coach Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert, as they paid tribute to his home state of Oklahoma.
The top 10 contestants all came to win this week, and with the celebrity mentors returning, there were some awesome performances from both the contestants and coach Adam Levine’s band Maroon 5.
After much speculation, it looks like all four coaches, past and present, will be returning to join fellow coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, just not all in one season.
It was a much cooler night at The Voice last night, in part because two contestants went home, with no chance of a coach’s save, but also because the studio’s air conditioning was finally working, unlike Monday night.

On the latest episode of The Voice, there were some major disagreements between the coaches as Team Blake and Team Usher faced the knockout rounds and some surprising eliminations.
Team Shakira and Team Adam were cut in half last night, as the coaches paired their teammates together in a sing-off, followed by an instant elimination. There were no steals, and no saving any eliminated contestants in this round.
