Last night at San Diego Comic-Con True Blood unveiled a trailer teasing the second half of Season 6. Plus new spoilers revealed by the cast during the True Blood panel.
The True Blood season 6 trailer reveals Sookie eulogizing at a funeral, probably for the death the cast has been teasing all season long.
More looks inside of the vampire camp, Governor Burrell’s war against vampires, and Alcide learning more difficulties that come with being packmaster. Also, Sookie trying to come to terms with her feelings for Ben. Which looks like it could mean Sookie turning into a vampire faerie like him?
Bill will continue to try and save the vampires according to Lillith’s plans. It may not end up well for him though.
During their panel at Comic-Con, the True Blood cast almost revealed some juicy spoilers. TV.com reports that Ryan Kwanten revealed that Jason will soon go off the deep end again.
“There’s a lot more in store for Jason. He gets real crazy real soon. He likes to think he’s Rambo but he fails miserably,” says Kwanten.
But Jessica may not want to be saved according to Deborah Ann Woll. “I think Jessica’s going to have to pay dearly with her own heart for what happened,” explains Woll. “It’s going to take a long time for her to forgive herself, and we have Andy Bellefleur out there’s who’s very upset with her.”
Kristin Bauer van Straten reveals that Pam is going to be displeased to hear she has a new sister in Willa. van Straten explains, “She doesn’t play well with others, and she’s never had to share Eric before.”
True Blood show runner Brian Buckner teases his plan for Season 7 saying, “I think you’re going to feel like the show is going back to its roots. We’re going to try to condense the number of stories we’re telling, make you feel like you’re coming home to Bon Temps.”
Buckner also said he doesn’t plan on intorudcing any new supernatural creatures to True Blood.
“I feel like this show is ultimately about the relationship between vampires and humans. And it’s about that town. I actually want to bring [the show] in a little bit. My hope is to get all these people we love living under the umbrella of one story and one thread, and really make this a show about a small town that we’ve all come to know and love.”
