The Lego Movie directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller will be “sculpting” Warner Bros.’ The Flash movie, according to a new report.
Phil Lord and Chris Miller certainly have their hands full at the moment, with The Lego Movie 2, 23 Jump Street and the Lego spin-offs, but according to Deadline, they are also working on the cinematic version of DC Comics’ The Flash.

Lord and Miller are currently working on a treatment for the movie, and whether or not they’ll end up directing is “still up in the air.”
The Flash (which is also currently a superhero series on The CW) tells the story of Barry Allen, whose super-speed allows him to time travel.

Although the movie isn’t set to be released until 2018, Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) has already signed on to star as the Flash.
A lot of people have tried their hand at a screenplay, but it seems like with Lord and Miller on board, the project might move in a totally different direction.
