Jessica Jones! Daredevil! Luke Cage! Iron Fist! The four are teaming up in Marvel and Netflix’s new series, The Defenders. Watch the first trailer here.

The four characters have series of their own, but in this era of Peak TV, they’re also getting one together. And they aren’t the only ones appearing in The Defenders trailer: Elektra is back, and we have a first look at Sigourney Weaver in a mysterious role (in which she plays Alexandra).

This show looks great, even for someone like me who’s a casual comic fan (I’ve only watched Daredevil and Jessica Jones). I’ll be tuning in when The Defenders premieres August 18.

Co-starring in The Defenders: Scott Glenn (Stick), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse), Simone Missick (Misty Knight) and Jessica Henwick (Colleen Wing).
