There are two very different parties happening on tonight’s The Big Bang Theory season 9, episode 3. Which would you rather attend?
How many PHDs does it take to change a tire? More than three and a masters in engineering! Tonight’s The Big Bang Theory season 9, episode 3, “The Bachelor Party Corrosion,” heads down to Mexico where a bachelor party takes a turn for the worse.
Would you rather…
Eat penis-shaped cookies or be kidnapped?
It’s bachelor and bachelorette weekend! While the boys kidnap Sheldon and take Leonard to a physics-themed weekend in Mexico, Penny hangs out with Amy and Bernadette for a non-bachelorette-bachelorette party. Amy never met a female bonding tradition she hated and shows up with some anatomically correct genital-shaped cookies. We leave it up to your imaginations to discover what the gummy worms were used for.
Tell your dad you eloped or cross a boarder with Sheldon?
Penny has yet to tell her father, mother, sister, brother and entire family that she and Leonard eloped. Her fear of disappointing her father and taking away his opportunity to walk his daughter down the aisle prevents her from picking up the phone. Not only does Penny have some news to break, but Amy has yet to reveal that she and Sheldon broke up to her mother.
After forcing Sheldon into a grungy van, the only way to win him over is to explain that the van once belonged to Nobel Prize winner Richard P. Feynman, the scientist who expanded the understanding of quantum electrodynamics and many other monumental feats in science that we will not pretend to understand.
Find out your pig died or get a flat in Mexico?
Amy wants to commit to a drastic change to her look in light of her breakup with Sheldon. No, the sweaters and pin straight hair are here to stay, but she is getting her ears pierced. It’s not enough of a distraction to make them forget that Penny needs to call her father. He took it in stride and used the opportunity to reveal that he killed her pig a year ago.
As the van makes their way through the boarder with Sheldon in tact, the same can not be said for the tire on the old van.
Tell your mom you got your ears pierced or set a Nobel Peace Prize winner’s van on fire?
Amy drags her feet through her call to her mother, but Penny takes control of the situation and gives Amy’s overbearing and conservative mother a run down of Amy’s bad news — her ears are pierced, she broke up with Sheldon, and she made penis cookies.
While Amy’s mother puts her in her place, the guys try to put a lug nut in its place using what they know best — science. Unfortunately, they cannot summon an Avenger to save the day so they must go through a few experiments to achieve a desirable result.
Attempting to loosen the lug nut with shock only led to the shock of the guys hearing Sheldon tap into his eidetic memory to BUST out the first verse of “We Will Rock You.” Their final hypothesis proved to be their last, as a mixture of aluminum, rust, and fire left the van in flames.
Which party would you pick?
So, would you want to sit in shame in Penny’s closet after talking to Amy’s mother or spend a night in Mexico with Sheldon Cooper?
