Scientific confusion comes between Sheldon and Leonard, while the gang remembers Mrs. Wolowitz on The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 18.
The episode, titled “The Leftover Thermalization,” looks like an emotional experience for everyone involved.
“Friction ensues when a magazine fails to mention Leonard in an article about the paper he co-wrote with Sheldon,” CBS says. “Also, a blackout at Mrs. Wolowitz’s home leads to a final family dinner in her honor.”
Last week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory also featured an emotional moment for Sheldon and Amy, who had a fight over a turtle and decided to plan their future together… on Mars. Meanwhile, Penny and Leonard got creative in the bedroom, while Raj got in trouble for snooping around Emily’s terrifying apartment.
The preview for The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 18 takes a decidedly more reflective tone, as Howard continues to come to terms with his mother’s death.
And while the gang may enjoy the last of Mrs. Wolowitz’s cooking tonight, this won’t be the last we see of Howard’s family. Matt Bennett will guest-star on an upcoming episode in the role of Josh, Howard’s half-brother from his mysterious dad.
Two sneak peeks from “The Leftover Thermalization” focus on the tension heating up between Leonard and Sheldon, after Leonard is snubbed in an important scientific article.
We can’t deny that iPad-helicopters seem a more palatable form of distraction than the “artistic” shenanigans Leonard and Penny got up to last week.
In the second sneak peek, Amy figures out just how to communicate Leonard’s disappointment to Sheldon
Let’s get real, Sheldon, you aren’t exactly Highness material either.
