The third and final novel in the Embassy Row series by Ally Carter is Take the Key and Lock Her Up. The book releases in January 2017 but we have the first look at the cover.
The Embassy Row series introduced us to Grace Blakely who was certain of three things: she isn’t crazy, her mother was murdered and someday she would find the killer and make him pay.
Grace’s grandfather is an Ambassador and she is sent to live with him on Embassy Row after the death of her mother. Grace was with her mother when she died and is convinced that someone else was there too. Grace’s father and brother are both in the military so her only family are those on Embassy Row.
The series is filled with great secondary characters and a few amazing twists — take Noah and Alexi for example. Noah is a new friend to Grace who just wants to help her through whatever is going on in her life. Alexi is an old friend who insists that he is looking out for her because her brother asked him to, not because he is in love with her or anything. There is also the secret society that is hidden away in a secret library.
At the end of book two, See How They Run, a major secret is revealed that will once again turn Grace’s world upside down. Take the Key and Lock Her Up will definitely be filled with suspense as Grace deals with who she really is and what it means to Adria.
On Embassy Row, the countries of the world stand like dominoes, and one wrong move can make them all fall down.
For five lucky winners we are giving away the first two books in the Embassy Row series and some very fun swag packs thanks to Scholastic!
