Recently, Hollywood reported that Disney’s intentions were to create a new Star Wars film every “two to three years.” Although the only definite film thus far is Episode VII, which J.J. Abrams is directing, there’s been some discussion of stand alone films that delve deep into characters’ background.

George Lucas has gone one step closer to basically selling his characters and films to the devil by allowing Yoda to be used in a series of billboard ads and a TV commercial for the UK mobile phone company Vodafone.
In all but two installments of the Star Wars saga, the sagely master Yoda has been manipulated by puppeteer Frank Oz. With the release of the full saga on Blu-Ray however, the inevitable modernization that we’ve seen in previous re-releases of the saga will turn the puppet Yoda used in The Phantom Menace into the CGI version that we saw in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
