The 10 best (and worst) films of 2012 (so far)

It’s amazing we’re now halfway through 2012, a year that has offered plenty in the way of both blockbuster films and the smaller, more intimate indie fare. Taking that into account, it seems only fitting to offer up something a long the lines of a best of/worst of post for the first half of 2012.

Hypable Movie Review: ‘This Means War’ fails on nearly every level

The likable Tom Hardy and Chris Pine star in the terribly unentertaining This Means War, as partners in the CIA who use all means means necessary in an attempt to win the heart of the same woman, played by Reese Witherspoon. With sloppy direction from McG, and a horribly structured and written screenplay by Timothy Dowling and Simon Kinberg, This Means War fails as both comedy and a spy-action caper, completely ruining any positives the film has to offer.

The first official trailer for McG’s (Terminator Salvation) new film This Means War has been released. The film follows two best friends, who also happen to be spies, played by Tom Hardy (Inception) and Chris Pine (Star Trek) who become mortal enemies when they realize they’re both dating the same woman – Reese Witherspoon.
