If you’re as excited about Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Django Unchained as we are, you’ll want to take a look at these six new images from the film, showcasing the film’s many stars.

Briefly: Back in February we reported that head honcho of The Weinstein Co. Harvey Weinstein was considering boycotting the MPAA after Bully, one of his documentaries, was given an R-rating by the ratings company. The Weinstein Company has now released a statement saying that the bullying documentary will, in fact, be released “unrated,” following an unsuccessful appeals campaign.

Netflix and Weinstein Co. reported yesterday that they have made a multi-year deal.  In this deal, recent Weinstein Co. movies would be stream on Netflix for U.S. subscribers rather than cable, which would include Oscar-nominated movies such as The Artist, Undefeated, and W.E.

This isn’t a re-release of a 1920’s era silent film, this is a 2011 era silent film. It was previously exhibited at the Cannes film festival where it received a twelve minute standing ovation. In short, this is a huge movie to watch out for this Oscar season.
