For the third straight weekend, The Dark Knight Rises was victorious at the domestic box office, as Total Recall severely underperformed as the film’s only serious competition.

As last week’s box office was understandably overshadowed by the tragic shooting rampage in a Colorado theater, the detractor this week came in the form of the opening of the XXX Olympic Games in London. In light of the tragic shooting of Trayvon Martin in Florida, the upcoming comedy Neighborhood Watch has been renamed The Watch. Fox has also released a new red band trailer for the film, which stars Jonah Hill, Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn.
