TV Guide published a list of the 13 most promising pilots.  The studios will release their fall line ups sometime in May, but will The Selection and The Carrie Diaries make the cut?

In January we learned that The CW had ordered Beauty and the Beast and Sexy and the City (prequel) pilots. Today, the star of the latter show has been cast.

The Carrie Diaries, Candace Bushnell’s prequel to Sex and the City, has been picked up by the CW.  The story follows Carrie in her senior year of high school in the 1980’s.
