After working at big developers like Electronic Arts for years, the team that would come to comprise 17 Bit decided to set out and make their own games. Three years in the making, their first title, Skulls of the Shogun, is nearly ready for release.

Earlier this week, Microsoft revealed Surface to the world. Immediately, the Internet began dissecting the information that Microsoft had provided and quickly compared it with Apple’s iPad. Whatever conclusions were drawn remain largely irrelevant, however, because they were made without a couple of key pieces of information.

Microsoft has announced a venture into the tablet market, hoping to take on Apple, Samsung and Google. The tablet, called Surface, features the new Windows 8 OS, and appears to be a direct competitor to the iPad.
