Today Fox announced they’ve set the new judges panel for the upcoming twelfth season of American Idol: Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, and Randy Jackson are all on board.

US Weekly is reporting this morning that American Idol is looking to singer Nick Jonas and rapper Pharrell Williams to become judges, replacing Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler.

In a press release, Fox and Steven Tyler announced that the Aerosmith singer will not be returning to American Idol.

The creators of Ice Age are set to return to 20th Century Fox animation with the film Epic, set to feature the voice talent of Beyonce, Josh Hutcherson, Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Knoxville, Aziz Ansari, rapper Pitbull, SNL’s Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler and more.

It’s been 42 years, and Aerosmith is still going strong. So strong that the band will be touring North America this summer.
