Bethesda has announced the release of a (nearly) complete collection of Elder Scrolls games for the PC, launched under the suitably epic title The Elder Scrolls Anthology.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. What do these games have in common? Soundtracks by Jeremy Soule, one of the most prolific composers in the world of video games. Soule has launched a Kickstarter campaign for a new symphony: The Northerner.
Earlier this week Bethesda announced that Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim players will be able to download the Dragonborn DLC in early 2013, following its launch on Xbox 360 on Tuesday. PlayStation 3 owners should also anticipate the eventual release of the other Skyrim DLC, Hearthfire and Dawnguard, in the future, Bethesda says.
We’ve all been wondering whether The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim‘s downloadable content will ever make it to Sony’s console, given the technical difficulties Bethesda has suffered whilst grappling with it. A tweet from Bethesda, however, tells us that PlayStation 3 owners might not have long to wait to get their hands on some Skyrim DLC.
