Official Hunger Games site Capitol Couture has been updated with an interview with make-up artist Ve Neill who designed Seneca Crane’s beard for the film.

Though he doesn’t have a huge presence in the books, Seneca Crane will of course be seen plenty in The Hunger Games film. The actor who plays him (Wes Bentley) is speaking to MTV about how they brought the character from page to screen as well as how they worked around the fact that the book is told from Katniss’ perspective.
Now we’re starting to think that these new ads featuring individual Hunger Games characters are jokes. Earlier we shared an ad on the film’s official website which features Cinna promoting gold eyeliner. Now, one that’s similar in style has appeared with Seneca Crane and a facial razor and Caesar Flickerman and his smile.
While they may be jokes, they are official and part of Lionsgate’s marketing campaign.
A couple weeks ago we heard about a slight change in Seneca Crane’s character for The Hunger Games film, and now we’re learning of another change.
