Saoirse Ronan is the latest star to join Wes Anderson’s upcoming feature The Grand Budapest Hotel, as she’s set to play the female lead in the film alongside a host of other talented actors.

Last week we reported that Wes Anderson was eyeing Johnny Depp, among others, for a role in his upcoming movie. Well it has now been confirmed that Depp will headline The Grand Budapest Hotel, which Anderson will write and direct.
According to Vulture, mega-producer Scott Rudin is setting up an adaptation of John Kennedy Toole’s Pulitzer Prize–winning novel, A Confederacy of Dunces, with Zach Galifianakis attached to star. The Muppets director James Bobin is also in talks to direct the film, from a script by Cedar Rapids scribe Phil Johnston.
The Coen Brothers, two of the most prolific filmmakers working today, are beginning to piece together their next project, Inside Llewyn Davis, which is set during the 1960’s folk music scene.
