Fans of the Mega Man series will rejoice to know that the little blue man that could is finally going to see a completely new iteration. Also, the classic NES game DuckTales will be completely re-hauled.

While big games like Borderlands 2 and Assassin’s Creed III are the things people will wait hours in line for at PAX, the show is also a great spot for independent developers to get their games seen by the public. Here are a few games that stood out at the show that you will want to keep in mind.

During their PAX East panel yesterday, developer Gearbox announced there will be a fifth character class for Borderlands 2, as well as customization.

Inside a massive, pitch black cylinder in the middle of the PAX East 2012 exhibition hall, Ubisoft gave attendees the first look at Assassin’s Creed III that, while not playable, provided new details for the highly anticipated title.
