A brand new international trailer for Walter Salles’ On the Road, starring Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley, has been released.

It was announced earlier today that On the Road was an official selection for the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. Now ten new posters, featuring the cast including Garrett Hedlund and Kristen Stewart, have been released to honor the occasion.

The first full trailer for On the Road, the adaptation of the classic Jack Kerouac novel, has hit the web. The film stars Sam Reilly, Garett Hedlund, Kristen Stewart and a host of other well-known supporting actors including Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst, and Amy Adams. Watch the trailer after the jump.

It has been a long and winding road for the adaptation of the classic fifties Beat novel. Back in 1968, when he was just cutting his teeth in the business, Francis Ford Coppola bought the film rights to the book.

Several new stills, as well as the first official poster for On the Road – based on the Jack Kerouac novel – has been released. The film features an all-star cast, including Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley and Kristen Stewart as the three leads. Take a first look at the film after the jump!
