Michael Rooker has chosen to leave Twitter in the wake of James Gunn’s Marvel firing over the some of his old, offensive tweets.

Wizard World Chicago took over the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois this past weekend and Hypable was lucky enough to attend and experience everything it had to offer!

Thanks to a plot twist on The Walking Dead, Michael Rooker was able to accept James Gunn’s offer of a large role in Guardians of the Galaxy instead of a small one.

Michael Rooker, the massive fan-favorite of The Walking Dead series has just signed on to play Yondu in Marvel’s space-thriller Guardians of the Galaxy.

While shooting Conan in Atlanta the set gets invaded by The Walking Dead stars Michael Rooker and Melissa McBride seeking shelter. Their co-star Steven Yeun also dropped by to reveal what he does in his downtime in Atlanta.

No actor is ever happy to be killed off a show, however on The Walking Dead its assumed to eventually happen. Still Michael Rooker is speaking out against his character’s death believing the fans deserved more.

The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus spoke about his relationship with the cast, working with Andrew Lincoln and how Boondock Saints landed Reedus’ dream job.
