Oscar Isaac will soon be helping to bring Sony’s Metal Gear Solid adaptation to life.

Check out the full list of award winners, announcements and trailers revealed at last night’s Spike TV Video Game Awards 2012 including Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us and Dark Souls 2.

Revealed earlier this week, debut footage from the next Metal Gear, now officially known as Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, was shown to the public at PAX Prime earlier today.

Though not officially announced, Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes was revealed by Konami as the next Metal Gear game at an event celebrating the 25th anniversary of the series today.

Hideo Kojima says every Metal Gear Solid game will be the last one he works on right up until he works on another one. That trend looks to continue as the creator of the series has revealed a few details concerning the next entry.

Konami did not have a traditional press conference at E3 2012, instead opting to reveal their products before the event officially begins. The publisher took the opportunity to reveal a new Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance trailer and officially announce Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.
