The Host movie will be released next week, and we are taking a look at the three must haves in order for the movie to be successful. This is Stephenie Meyer’s first adventure outside of the world of Twilight, and fans are anxiously waiting to see if The Host has the same magic as the vampire series.

A brand new trailer for Stephenie Meyer’s adaptation The Host, starring Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons and Jake Abel, has arrived online, just in time for Valentine’s day.

Two brand new The Host character posters featuring Saoirse Ronan as Melanie Stryder and Max Irons as Jared Howe have arrived as another interview with Stephenie Meyer and the film’s cast and crew hits the web.

Josh Horowitz from MTV visited the set of The Host and talked with Stephenie Meyer and the cast about filming.

Saoirse Ronan, who plays Melanie/Wanderer in The Host, just celebrated her eighteenth birthday on set. Even though the Stephenie Meyer story features a love quadrangle with three bodies, Ronan is attracted to other script elements.

Stephenie Meyer’s sci-fi novel, The Host features alien invasion in an Invasion of the Body Snatchers type of way. It’s also been called out for having the first love quadrangle featuring only three bodies.
