Is it do or die for The Muppets tonight? The series is revamped and tonight your familiar friends return with a new twist.

Speaking from the set of their forthcoming London-based movie The Muppets Most Wanted, Kermit and Miss Piggy have a special message for Kate and Prince William’s baby boy.

Ricky Gervais is in talks to play one of the three human leads in the upcoming sequel to The Muppets.

The Voice narrowed down the playing field to six artists on Tuesday’s results show as Cee Lo Green performed with Kermit The Frog and one team got eliminated from the competition.

It’s no secret that last year’s release of The Muppets was a runaway success. And now a sequel has been confirmed, but there is a bit of bad news.

Today during E!’s Academy Awards pre-show, Glee star Darren Criss and The Muppets‘ Kermit The Frog performed an acoustic version of Rainbow Connection.

Back in December, Fox News aired a segment criticizing The Muppets for “brainwashing” our kids by depicting an Oil barron as the villain, claiming the film had a liberal agenda and was anti-capitalism.

Now a video has been released featuring Kermit and Miss Piggy in a seemingly polite but rather backhanded and hilarious response to Fox News’ ridiculous claims. Watch the video after the jump!
