The week-long hype train known as TV Upfronts has ended. The big networks have finished rolling out first looks at their new TV shows to impress advertisers. So what looks good, and what looks bad? Hypable’s staff watched and judged the trailers for new TV shows coming in the 2016-2017 season.
The beginning of the Autumn season brings a brand new Fall TV lineup, and new shows mean a different batch of actors and actresses that we have probably seen somewhere before. It’s easy to forget where we know them from, so here are a few faces you may recognize from this fall’s premiere schedule:
Dozens of new shows tried to work their way into our hearts (and DVRs) this season, but only a few were actually worth watching. While we’re looking forward to the return of some shows, there are plenty we’re glad to be finished with—and another few we hope will be over soon.
So in honor of the mid-season finales, let’s take a look back at the best (and later this week I’ll tackle the worst) in this year’s fall TV lineup.
