With Pottermore now fully off the ground and word of the encyclopedia floating around, I’m reminded of some of the burning questions I had whilst reading J.K. Rowling’s series. And while McGonagall’s backstory and the story of how the Dursleys met were interesting and informative, they were also completely superfluous.

Last month we shared a new blurb on the FAQ portion of J.K. Rowling’s website where she stated she “started work” on the Harry Potter Encyclopedia “now.”

Within the past couple of days she updated that question with less exciting news.

While discussing its profits and looking ahead, U.K. Harry Potter publisher Bloomsbury revealed a very interesting tidbit about a future Potter project.
