A sequel to Warner Bros.’ critical sci-fi hit, Edge of Tomorrow, has entered development at the studio.

Emily Blunt may be busy promoting her new film, Mary Poppins Returns, but she made sure that fans knew there is a script for her Edge of Tomorrow 2 if the actors can just find the time to film it.

A sequel to Edge of Tomorrow is almost definitely coming, and according to Doug Liman, it’s gonna be pretty great.

It’s July, and that means it’s time to count down our top 10 movies of 2014 (so far).

Tom Cruise has been reliving the same situation over and over for a seemingly infinite amount of time, learning from his mistakes, but failing over and over regardless of what he does. The situation in question is his career.

Director Doug Liman got his start making breakthrough independent films such as Swingers and Go but he may be best known to most moviegoers as the director of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and The Bourne Identity. Despite his last few films bearing expensive studio price tags, he assures me that his filmmaking process is still grounded in his independent roots.

The first trailer for Edge of Tomorrow, a Groundhog Day-esque futuristic action-thriller starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt has been released, and it actually looks quite good.
