The actors of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy are notorious for being tight-lipped (well, except for Michael “I’ll say whatever the hell I want” Caine), so now that the series is over and done with, why wouldn’t JGL open up about his much-talked-about role in The Dark Knight Rises? Obviously, spoilers are ahead.
In light of the tragic events in Aurora, Colorado, The Dark Knight Rises composer Hans Zimmer scored a track to benefit the victims.

After Heath Ledger died, controversy surrounding 2008’s The Dark Knight led to an onslaught of publicity, as well as a posthumous Oscar win for Ledger and the title, according to millions of fanboys across the world, as the greatest comic-book movie film ever. Sure, credit is due to Nolan, but it was Ledger’s virtuoso performance that made the film.
