We reported earlier that Ryan Murphy had announced through his Twitter that fans could expect Matt Bomer to be joining the cast of The New Normal, and now there has been further information about his role on the show.

The “inspiring” words of Cooper Anderson could very well have been Glee talking about itself, and a problem that has been surrounding the show since season 2.

Matt Bomer is set to play Cooper Anderson, Blaine’s older brother, when Glee returns on April 10th. Bomer talked to TVLine.com about playing the role and living out his Duran Duran fantasies.

Yesterday we got a still featuring Matt Bomer and Darren Criss. Now, Fox has released the press release for the episode, which details why Blaine’s brother is popping up on the show.
