Anticipation is high for Sweet/Vicious, MTV’s newest dramedy that focuses on girl power and sexual assault awareness, and they’ve just released a hilarious new video.
Sweet/Vicious stars Eliza Bennett (Jules) and Taylor Dearden (Ophelia) show off their ability to scream and expertly follow through on a shoulder grab defense move in the latest video the show has posted online.
Normally, you would practice your moves on each other or work with your instructor (in this case, Matt Berberi, a self-defense expert), but why practice on a random stranger when you can practice it on Teen Wolf’s Tyler Posey!?

Posey certainly got the short end of the stick there.
@SweetVicious @ElizaBennett @taylor_dearden I don't feel very appreciated

But never fear, Posey thinks Sweet/Vicious looks as badass as we do.
There's a new badass in town. Or, badass-es. Check out my home girls in @MTVs new show @SweetVicious hell to the yes https://t.co/j9tFr0t7I0

When we spoke to creator Jennifer Kaytin Robinson at New York Comic Con 2016, she emphasized that she wanted the series to be entertaining and educational.
“I want it to be for everyone because there’s so much of it that’s informational. People don’t know about consent,” she says. “I think there’s a lot of miseducation out there, and that’s where a lot of confusion and a lot of the shitty things that are happening are coming from. It’s from a lack of education, so if this show can reach people and can show them in a way that isn’t like taking medicine, [we’ve done our job].”
And it sounds like Sweet/Vicious is already starting to inform its audience about how to stay safe ahead of its premiere.
