Fan favorite actress Felicia Day will be returning to Supernatural this season to reprise her role as Charlie Bradbury.

The actress, who played a fangirl hacker in season 7’s “The Girl With the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo,” tweeted yesterday that she was on set. TVLine has confirmed that she will return in episode 11, “LARP and the Real Girl”:

We reported earlier that in this episode, “[w]e’ll meet Gerald, a LARPer who prefers to be referred to as an ‘interactive literaturist.’ He goes a little too far with his fascination with a medieval-style game.”

This will not be the first time Supernatural has delved into live action role playing, or LARPing, as season 4′s “The Monster at the End of This Book” introduced the idea, and season 5′s “The Real Ghostbusters” explored it more in depth at a convention for the Supernatural books.

And considering what we learned about Charlie last season, including the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter merchandise around her cubicle and her Princess Leia tattoo, we think she’s a perfect fit for this kind of episode.

Are you looking forward to seeing Charlie again?
