Supergirl has cast a Sons of Anarchy alum as the villain Reactron.
Chris Browning will play Ben Krull, aka Reactron, on Supergirl‘s freshman season.
Ben Krull is described as “a deadly adversary of Superman’s from Metropolis.” He “wears an armored suit powered by nuclear energy.” Because he was “never able to defeat his rival, Krull has come to National City to get revenge on the Man of Steel by killing his cousin, Supergirl.”
Ben Krull is set to make his first appearance in Supergirl season 1, episode 3. The character has the potential to recur throughout the season.

Browning’s numerous other credits include From Dusk Till Dawn, The 100, Graceland and Easy Money.
In the DC Comics, Ben Krull was a member of the U.S. Army who was injured on guard duty for a top secret government project. To keep him alive the project’s lead scientist gave him a special suit called the StarSuit.
He would eventually be recruited by General Sam Lane (yes, Lois and Lucy’s father) to deal with extraterrestrial threats and would work alongside Superman rogue Metallo. Reactron would go on to kill Supergirl’s father, Zor-El.
