Batman has appeared on the set of Suicide Squad while shooting continues in Toronto. The Joker is in his glowing Lamborghini with Harley Quinn as they’re chased by the Batmobile.
It’s unclear if Ben Affleck is the one doing the chasing, but Batman’s new Batmobile has been seen chasing Jared Leto as The Joker in his glowing Lamborghini down the streets of Gotham. This would seem to confirm that Batman shows up in Suicide Squad in some form, possibly a flashback scene for Leto’s Joker, or Batman may actually have a role in Suicide Squad.
Some of the pictures we’ve seen recently show The Joker looking a bit more put together, as well as Harley Quinn, so it’s possible this is before he gets sent to prison and becomes seriously insane. Watch below as Jared Leto attempts to escape from the Batmobile with Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn sitting in the passenger seat.
Update: Batman was seen on the top of The Joker’s Lamborghini without his cape. We imagine his cape will be digitally added in post production. Watch the new video of the caped crusader on top of the car:
It’s a bit of a spoiler to reveal these videos to our readers, but there have been rumors for quite a while that Batman would appear in some way in Suicide Squad, as the studio wanted to link the two films in an attempt to cross-promote them.

With Suicide Squad being an unknown title for many moviegoers, having Batman in the Batmobile will undoubtedly be used in the film’s trailer and TV spots, so we apologize if any fans feel as though we’ve spoiled Batman’s involvement, but we imagine the superhero will be part of Suicide Squad’s promotion as it heads towards theaters on August 5, 2016.
Let us know what you think of Batman chasing The Joker in their respective superhero/villain vehicles. We have to say that Ben Affleck as Batman looks a bit more equipped to take down Leto as The Joker in his pimped-out, glowing Lambo.
