Suicide Squad director David Ayer has released the final look at Jared Leto as The Joker, and he looks incredibly demented.
Jared Leto’s Joker look has been leaking out slowly over the last few weeks, but David Ayer has just tweeted the first official look at Leto as The Joker and the final look is pretty insane. It shows his character with dozens of tattoos, including one that says “damaged” on his forehead.
We’re not 100% sure if this is how he’ll appear on screen because it’s been photoshopped, but the director tweeted it himself, so check out the new look via Twitter:

Jared Leto has been seen around town with his newly cropped and dyed hair, and he also recently yelled at a heckler at one of his concerts in a strangely familiar voice, which caused fans to question if he was testing his Joker voice on one of his audiences.
This new look is incredibly dramatic, and we’re very interested to hear what fans think about this look. We’re not even sure if this is the final look at Jared Leto’s The Joker or not, but it’s a lot of fun to keep seeing the director and the actor enjoying the film’s early process.
The image shows loads of tattoos, including the iconic green hair and white face, but it seems like there’s been some airbrushing near his eyes, and he also has “HaHAhAhahah” all over his left forearm and chest, which is pretty hilarious. Leto has a lot of tattoos of his own, so it’s interesting to see him with different ones.
We think he’ll most likely look quite a bit different once he’s up on the big screen, as this looks like it was heavily photoshopped, and they’re still probably working on the design. We’re not quite sure why they’re rushing this out, as the film is still a year away. We’re definitely curious to see what the character ends up looking like though, as he’ll probably end up next to Batman at some point in the DC film universe.
Suicide Squad is being helmed by David Ayer, who directed the recent WWII film with Brad Pitt titled Fury. We look forward to seeing this terrific ensemble, under David Ayer’s amazing guidance, give new meaning to what it means to be a villain and what it means to be a hero.
Shooting for Suicide Squad recently began in Canada, and we look forward to hearing more about this massively talented cast of super villains. Suicide Squad will be released on August 5, 2016.
What do you think of Jared Leto’s official Joker look?
