Movie ticketing websites like Fandango.com and MovieTickets.com started selling tickets for the seventh Star Wars installment a few hours ahead of schedule.
Disney and Lucasfilm announced yesterday that tickets were going on sale once the final trailer aired during Monday Night Football on ESPN, but the football game hasn’t started and the trailer hasn’t aired.
Nonetheless, this writer and thousands of others started purchasing their Star Wars tickets shortly after 7:30 p.m. eastern on Monday.
Grab yours fast to get the screening you want! When I purchased mine, the South Jersey movie theater I selected was half-way sold out for the very first screening on December 17 at 7 p.m. That’s quick for the middle of nowhere.
