Are you as in love with the Star Wars family’s Finn/Rey/BB-8 cosplay as we are? Turns out they need our help!
Finn and Rey may not be a couple in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but that doesn’t mean all our shipper feels weren’t ignited by the adorable cosplay couple Victor and Julianne, whose Finn and Rey poses and costumes are so spot on, we were actually fooled for a second by this gorgeous photo:

What makes Julianne and Victor’s display even more heartwarming is that they have a BB — er, a baby — named Addie. The adorable trio has gone viral online, and for good reason: many fans describe them as “the perfect family.”
And that should be the end of the story. But unfortunately, real life is not that simple.
The tl;dr: Addie is Julianne’s baby. Victor and Julianne are getting married, but Victor is not Addie’s biological father. So Victor is now seeking to adopt Addie as his own, in order for them to become a real family.
Yay? Not so much. Because of the way the law works, the adoption process for Julianne and Victor is very, very expensive.
Thus, our favorite Star Wars cosplay family is now reaching out to everyone who has enjoyed their gorgeous photo series and/or interacted with them at conventions, and asking for any help you can give to make their little family ‘official’ in the name of the law.
Writes Julianne on the family’s GoFundMe page:
I (Julianne) raised Addie alone. As a birthmother myself to a little boy years ago, I understand the importance for a child to have two stable healthy parents, and what a blessing adoption is. The situation with Addie’s biological dad is less than ideal. He is unstable and mentally ill. I fear for her well being every day that he still has rights to her. Luckily he is cooperative and wants the best for her, which is to be adopted and live in one stable healthy home. Victor joining us was the biggest blessing. We love him so much. He’s so amazing with Addie and they are so bonded. And the sooner we get her officially adopted the safer she is.
So why ask for money, you may wonder? Simply put, “Adoption is expensive not only for the application, but for the attorney and court fees,” Julianne explains.
“We know with your help we can transition not only from being “the star wars family” but to being a real family where Addie is truly and legitimately Victor’s daughter.”
